It gives us immense pleasure to introduce ourselves as a leading company in the field of Steam Turbine Generator, Natural Gas Engine and Bio Gas Engine Based Cogeneration & H2S Scrubbers. Our sister concern company Anama Enertech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. provides consultancy services in Energy Auditing, CDM projects, detailed engineering etc.
Aim: To provide a one-stop solution for energy conservation, to meet the environmental engineering needs and effective utilization of resources to meet the power and heat requirement through modular and highly efficient steam turbine and gas engine based cogeneration systems.
STEAM TURBINE – GENERATOR SYSTEM
CONCEPT:
A boiler generates steam at a higher pressure than is required for the process since it is cheaper to transport steam at high pressure. Normally, steam is throttled through a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) to a lower pressure for use in the process. Using a PRV “kills” the electricity generation potential of the high-pressure steam.
A Back-Pressure Steam Turbine System utilizes this high-pressure steam to generate electricity and gives out the same steam at the required lower pressure fit for use in the process. Hence the same steam is used twice – first for producing power & then for your process. Power production is a function of two main factors: Steam Flow & Pressure Drop through the turbine. These two parameters determine how much power can be made. Each has to be large enough to make enough power to yield a reasonable payback.
Example:
A boiler having the parameters as:
Steam Flow: 5 tons per hour, Inlet Pressure: 10 kg/cm2 (g) Exhaust Pressure: 3 kg/cm2 (g)
Our backpressure system, with same parameters, will produce 120 kW of electricity. Essentially the backpressure steam turbine system is functioning as a Pressure Reducing Valve and producing free electricity of 120 units per hour without any additional fuel. A 120 KW system generates revenues of Rs 48 Lacs per annum (Assuming State Electricity power at Rs 5/unit, and 8000 hrs of operation per year)
