Benzo Chem. Industries Pvt. Limited and Gitanjali Chemicals Pvt. Limited are wholly owned companies of Mohatta Group.
It all began three decades ago in 1982; Gitanjali Chemicals Pvt. Limited was first incepted with the production of phthalate plasticizers. Soon, the company has developed substantial competencies in the areas of biocides, pharmaceuticals and performance chemicals. Today, the company’s range of products includes Chlorophenol derivatives, Diclofenac Sodium and Miconazole Nitrate and their intermediates.
Since then the company never looked back. Innovative products with the environmentally greener processes and fast system solutions enabled us to expand further to incorporate Benzo Chem Industries Pvt. Limited in 1986 at Jalgaon and 1997 at Malkapur. In 2009 a new 100% EOU unit have been in operation at Malkpur. Benzo Chem also have GMP standard small plant certified by SGS near Mumbai. The product lists widened with these new establishments and company became market leader in the manufacturing Para Chloro Benzyl Chloride and Para Chloro Benzyl Cyanide. With the passage of time the company diversified its production expertise and started producing derivatives based on Para Chloro Toluene, 2,4-Dichloro Toluene, Meta Chloro Toluene, Ortho Chloro Toluene and 3,4-Dichloro Toluene and specialty products.
With such a track record and quality culture all companies earned ISO 9001-2008, ISO 14001-2004 and OHSAS 18001-2007 recognition from IQCS, India.
