The company was founded by Mr. G. M. Doshi in the year 1960 as Rajesh Trading Corporation The Company initially started as traders dealing mainly in laboratory items. Rajesh Doshi then joined the business in 1980 and the name was subsequently changed to "Hiten Brothers". Kiran Doshi joined the company in 1985. Hiten Brothers was founded with a view to serve the Scientific and Lab community.

Since its inception, the company has established a reputation for itself as a supplier of quality products.
