Winston Company, Inc. began in 1962 as a research and development entity at MAPCO Petroleum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. MAPCO and Phillips Petroleum entered into a joint venture to develop bacteria/enzyme products that would digest waste aboard NASA space capsules. After years of development, an effective product was introduced and performed extremely well for the space program.

In 1977, entrepreneur and engineer, Henry Zahn purchased the entity from MAPCO and formed Winston Company. Today, we continue to use Nature's wisdom, and her workhorses -- bacteria and enzymes -- to clean the air, water and land around us.
