POLUTECH was incorporated in 1981 for manufacture of equipment and designing systems required for water and waste water treatment plants with collaboration from EPI - USA.

POLUTECH is an associate company of the prestigious USD 3.14 billion Murugappa Group - a proud conglomeration of sterling companies such as Tube Investments of India, Carborundum Universal, E.I.D.Parry, Cholamandalam Investments and Finance Company, Cholamandalam General Insurance and Coromandel International Ltd.

Polutech manufactures High Speed Floating Aerator, Clarifier, Clariflocculator, Thickener, Slow speed Aerator, Agitator etc.; which are widely used in Water and Waste Water Treatment plants.

Apart from manufacturing of equipment, POLUTECH offers turnkey projects in water and wastewater treatment system from concept to commissioning. Services include system design, Process know-how, Detailed engineering, Supply of equipment, Construction, Erection, Commissioning, Performance trials and Training client's personnel in operation and maintenance of the plant. Polutech can also under take operation and maintenance for the plants usually supplied by them.

POLUTECH has built a strong record by supplying more than 1500 numbers of various equipment to over 650 industries and successfully completed more than 100 turnkey industrial effluent and sewage treatment plants with capacity ranging from 20 cum/day to 8000 cum/day for various industrial sectors like sugar, fertiliser, paper, pharmaceutical, distillery, confectionery, electroplating, chemical, textile, leather etc.,.

POLUTECH has successfully completed municipal water treatment plant of 8 MLD capacity on turnkey basis. POLUTECH has also exported aerators to Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Mauritius.

POLUTECH has a full fledged manufacturing facility at Kakkalur Industrial estate, near Chennai, which is structured into coherent departments closely interrelated operating in synergy to address the market expeditiously and meet customer requirements with individual engineered solutions. The factory spreads over the total area of 22,400 Sq.ft including the covered area of 8000 Sq.ft and trained manpower to manufacture all range of Pollution Control Equipment with high quality.
