India ASEAN Sensitization Workshop on Indian Renewable Energy Scenario

The main objective behind organizing this workshop is to bring together the respective stakeholders in the field of renewable energy. It is felt that there is a lack of adequate interaction and cooperation among India and ASEAN countries so far as this crucial sector is concerned. It is hoped that this workshop will provide countries a platform to share their experiences and specific (and sometime, similar) problems concerning renewables.

The proposed three day workshop would provide an opportunity to delegates to (a) dwell upon topics of concern and mutual benefit and (b) identify the major barriers to the flow of information as well as to the growth of this potentially important sector in the region.

Towards this, the proposed programme aims at providing a conducive environment for sharing of experience, knowledge, and views among the participants and faculty.
