Haryana has taken a lead in implementation of solar generation programme under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission as the State Electricity Regulatory Commission has issued order for fixation of tariff and grid connectivity issues under solar mission.
Informing this, Sumita Misra, director, Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) said that the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) in its order dated 16 th April, 2010 has allowed the purchase of solar power from 1 to 3 mw capacity projects by the state utilities on the levellised tariff fixed by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC).
She further informed that the levellised tariff for the projects which have not availed accelerated depreciation benefits would be Rs. 17.91 per unit and the projects which have availed accelerated depreciation benefits would be Rs. 14.95 per unit.
