Agitators are used for mixing or blending of two different substances.  The speed of the Agitator depends on the nature of the substance that is to be mixed varying from 50 RPM to 1500 RPM. Also the type of impeller used for mixing depends on the speed and the type of substance, which is to be mixed. The various types of impellers used for mixing are pitched blade turbine type, propeller type and anchor type. We have built water tank in our workshop for specially testing Agitators.
