Water Softeners, the scale forming calcium and magnesium salts are removed by the Ion-Exchange phenomenon. Hard water is corrosive and lowers down efficiency of metal equipments in industry. The ion exchange process is carried out in non-corrosive vessels for designing a good quality softener. And a high quality cation based resin beads are utilized for lowering down the leakage of hardness in treated water. In Demineralisation Plants two different types of resin beads are used. One is strong acid cation and other one strong base anion. These resins remove positive and negative ion minerals.
