Noise health effects are both health and behavioral in nature. The unwanted sound is called noise. Chronic exposure to noise may cause noise-induced hearing loss. High noise levels can contribute to cardiovascular effects and exposure to moderately high levels during a single eight hour period can cause a statistical rise in blood pressure of five to ten points.
At GGMPL, we measure the sound levels in industrial areas to know the noise generated by different machineries and plan for suitable mitigate measures to be taken to reduce the noise levels as per the State Pollution Control Board’s tolerance limits.
